Corporate Analyst


Do you want to work in a team that is influencing the energy transition and is developing sustainable financing structures for the largest companies in the maritime sector?


In the Ocean Industries Division you will be part of a global team of 200 people. We represent the most internationally oriented business area in DNB covering all main industry segments in the maritime sector: Ocean Energy, Ocean Services, Shipping and Seafood.


We aim to be the preferred financial partner for our customers, enabling growth opportunities as well as giving support in challenging times. In addition to maintaining strong industry competence, we need to stay updated on technological developments and international regulations, as well as understanding key risk elements. With the need to adapt to the energy transition and be more sustainable we need to understand what this means to our customers.


The Customer Analysis Section (CAS) in Oslo consists of ~30 analysts with different backgrounds and experiences working towards the various industry segments in client teams. The section is responsible for the internal processes related to risk analysis of customers and for preparing and presenting cases for decision makers. As an analyst you will work together with client managers to provide advice and solutions to our customers, often in close cooperation with colleagues across other areas of the bank. 


An opportunity to develop your career within Ocean Industries focusing on: 

  • Analysis of customers’ financial and non-financial risk, including ESG-risk and how trends within sustainable development are affecting our customers
  • Driving the process, prepare, and present credit memos for decision makers
  • Gaining insight into our clients’ markets, challenges and opportunities through preparing sector outlooks and market analysis on various industry segments
  • Working in client teams to provide the best financing solutions to our customers


As our new colleague you should have high work ethic, an analytical mindset and be curious on risk assessment and to develop industry competence.


We want to hear from commercial and team-oriented persons with:

  • 3-6 years relevant experience
  • Good understanding of and interest in financial analysis and accounting
  • Higher education at master's degree level with good results and fluency in Norwegian and English
