The Daily Banking & Savings section is looking for two Senior Backend Developers to join our cross functional DevOps teams. We are responsible for several daily banking services such as payments, accounts, programs, spending, budgets and account saving. Our teams consist of skilled Developers, UX Designers, Product Owners and Data Engineers, and we develop software in an agile way.

What will your day look like?
Together with the team, your main responsibility will be to develop and maintain server-side code which is serving our mobile and web developers. The team is responsible for the full product, from concept to design to implementation, testing and production in all parts of the stack. You will be responsible for developing new features and delivering quality code and a great customer experience, while maintaining the rock-solid security and quality required for a banking solution. This requires that you work closely with our client-side developers, designers and product managers and communicate your thoughts clearly to the team. Our focus on stability means that you must write testable code that can adapt to change.

What kind of developer are we looking for?
We are looking for a dedicated developer who really cares about doing a great job and who is passionate about technology. You enjoy technical discussions, you communicate clearly, and you are eager to both gain and share your knowledge and experience with your team members. Equally important is your ability to be a good team player, while at the same time being able to work independently and proactively to drive projects forward. To succeed in this role, you need to be comfortable in a high paced environment, flexible and able to adapt to changes and shifting priorities. Finally, we want you to bring new ideas into our teams, and we want you to both inspire and be inspired!

Your knowledge and skills:
You are a skilled developer with some years’ experience and professional knowledge of Kotlin, AWS, SQL, Go (and maybe even some Java). It would also be beneficial if you are experienced with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub, if you have a DevOps way of thinking, and have worked with security. If you have the experience and skills to analyse legacy code and migrate data to new applications in AWS, that would be a big plus.

You are fluent in English, both written and verbal, Norwegian is a plus. We think that you have completed relevant higher education, but we also acknowledge that relevant experience may make up for this.

Work location: Oslo or Bergen
