Norwegian speaking Head of Department for KYC PM WM

About the position

KYC PM WM Riga is looking for an initiative-driven and responsible department manager for the Periodic Customer Review department and the leadership team in the KYC PM WM section. In this leadership role, you will join a skilled and highly engaged team with a strong drive for change. You will be responsible for KYC deliveries for personal customers, ensuring compliance with regulations, achieving results in your area, and developing employees and teams.

 

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Ensure tQhe department complies with AML (anti-money laundering) routines and maintains a strong understanding of risk.
  • Take responsibility for employees, deliveries, quality, and results within the department.Lead, develop, and follow up on employees and the department.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Manage capacity and staffing planning, including recruitment.
  • Drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and change initiatives, acting as a guide and motivator for direction and goals.
  • Ensure reporting and follow-up on targets.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, openness, and accountability.
  • Collaborate with the Periodic Customer Review 1 department, other leaders, and key personnel within the section, division, and business areas.
  • Actively contribute to the section's leadership team and the network of leaders in DNB Latvia branch.

 

Qualifications and personal attributes

 

  • We are looking for a positive and structured leader with strong communication skills.
  • You have a solid understanding of regulatory operations and customer value, excel in execution, and are confident in employee management.
  • Proven leadership experience with personnel and delivery responsibility.Relevant higher education and proficiency in Norwegian at a minimum B2 level.
  • Responsible, curious, and proactive.An engaging and present leadership style with the ability to achieve results and drive improvements through others.
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Prioritises customer, quality, and compliance.
