We are looking for Norwegian speaking Consultants for the newly established department People Riga
At DNB Latvia Branch, we are expanding our People function by creating a new department – People Riga – that will work in close cooperation with our colleagues in Norway. We are looking for a group of experienced professionals with strong language skills to join us on this journey.

Our Riga branch is a strong support hub for the Group worldwide. In the Employee Experience (EX) division, we work to develop and operate the most important people processes in the group – from strategic workforce management, management consulting, Gen AI and digitalization of workflows, to payroll, sick leave and employee data. We are a business-oriented team that combines technology, insight and operational power to make everyday life easier for employees and managers. Our goal is to deliver comprehensive services of high quality, and to help DNB achieve its goals through clear leadership, efficient organization and modern HR solutions.
The Impact section is responsible for comprehensive support for managers and employees in the Group. As part of the Impact section, the newly established People Riga department will solve the administrative tasks related to the employee relationship and ensure that personnel administration is solved efficiently with good quality.
Newly established department will create new opportunities to work in close cooperation with Norwegian departments and support People service line in Norway.

In the role you will be involved in solving tasks within recruitment support, personnel administration, working hours and absence in the best way. You will be part of a team that values knowledge sharing and continuous improvement, and who work together to create an effective and learning organization.
Key tasks
- Preparation of offers, conducting background checks as well as dialogue with recruiters/managers in connection with external and internal appointments
- Maintenance and updating of employee data, adapted to changes in employees' life cycles and careers in DNB.
- Responsible for efficient and professional handling of email communication, ensuring quick response and high satisfaction of employees and managers.
- Quality assure and respond to questions related to working hours and absence, including shift work, overtime and leave.
- Training of managers to promote self-service in matters related to the employee relationship.
- Collaborate with People Business Partner and various business areas to identify and solve challenges in the value chain.
- Development and testing of self-service solutions to improve the user experience, as power users.
We are looking for you who:
- Have a background in HR, administration or a related field, and are passionate about creating efficient and people-oriented processes.
- Have experience from case management or customer-oriented work
- Has a solid understanding of processes and an ability to see the big picture in complex systems.
- Is accurate and learns quickly.
- Works purposefully and efficiently, and is driven by implementing improvements.
- Has a high ability to execute and thrives in a role where collaboration is in focus.
Desired qualifications and competencies:
- Good understanding of how HR contributes to business goals, as well as insight into Norwegian working life, management culture and relevant laws and regulations.
- Good understanding of technology and preferably knowledge of HR systems and processes.
- Master Office 365 at an advanced level .
- Higher relevant education .
- Good Norwegian and English skills (B2+/C1), written and oral.
