Your strategic approach will involve understanding client needs, ensuring their satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for business growth. We are now looking for an experienced Senior Relationship Manager who will play an important role on this journey, contributing with proactivity, enthusiasm and Real Estate & financial structuring competence to the team.
The Real Estate Division covers DNB's large customers within Real Estate and Construction. We are approximately 50 people across our offices in Sweden, Norway and Internationally, with the ambition to be the leading financial partner within our segments, focusing on strong industry competence, compliance and sustainability. Cooperation with DNB Markets and other parts of DNB are critical to reach our strategic and financial targets.
Real Estate Division serves clients across the globe and focusing on the Nordic Real Estate market. We are 15 dedicated Client Managers and Client Advisors in Sweden and Norway working together to serve the Scandinavian market. In Stockholm you will be one of a team of Client Managers and Analysts working closely with dedicated credit analysts as part of the wider team. The section has a very high deal activity, and we are cooperating closely with DNB Carnegie (IBD, FICC and Equities) and Working Capital Solutions. We emphasize industry competence and taking advantage of the dynamics of a truly global team.
In this role you will cooperate with the global team and have an important role in contributing with industry expertise and market knowledge out of the Stockholm office. You will have responsibility for a portfolio of customers and to expand that portfolio with new attractive companies.
Your main responsibilities:
- Drive profitable growth through origination of new customers and business opportunities.
- Develop and lead client relationships, including taking a strategic view on the customer’s capital structure, pitching for lending and other cross selling activities and coordinating with the relevant product specialists.
- Ability to execute all kind of transactions, independently and drive a process from pitch to closing.
- Take ownership of the credit risk assessment, structure deals and develop term sheets.
- Take responsibility of the documentation process of a deal, including reviewing loan agreements and coordinating stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong industry knowledge, which includes broadening networks with relevant industry participants
- Possess and continuously develop strong industry knowledge.
- Have a hands-on oversight of KYC procedures and non-financial risk assessments.
Competence requirements:
- Higher academic education in business or equivalent
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- In-depth knowledge of large corporate banking products, capital markets and capital-efficient solutions
- Relevant experience and good business understanding.
- Ability to initiate and build relationships both external and internal.
- Strong knowledge and network of contacts within the Nordic real estate market
- Pro-active, structured and result-oriented.
Personal qualities:
You possess good inter-personal and communication skills and can promote, leverage and maintain internal/external networks. You are an advocate of change and innovation and should strive to find process improvements and promote innovation wherever possible.
