About the recruitment process


After having rested and recharged through Easter break, the tech recruitment team will have a closer look at your background. The goal of the recruitment process is for us to find out if we have relevant and interesting challenges to present to you, and for you to see if DNB is the right place for you to take your career further.


  1. We will kick off with a short phone call from one of our tech recruiters, where we dig a little deeper into your background and experience and why you want to join DNB. Here you will also get the oportunity to ask any immediate questions you might have.
  2. Engineers from different parts of DNB will join the recruitment process to carry out technical interviews, focusing on coding and system design skills. This gives us the opportunity to match your interests and experience with the right cloud related challenge, and you will get to meet the people actually doing the work, to learn more about our engineering culture.
  3. Based on the previous steps, we will invite hiring managers to have a talk with you together with one of our tech recruiters. The objective of this conversation is to get to know you better on a personal level and ensure that the Tech Family eventually welcoming you to DNB will be a place where you can thrive, be supported by team mates and be presented to relevant and challenging tasks.
  4. To ensure the best match, your future manager will carry out a reference check in order to get a better understanding of your strenghts and how to support you in potential development areas.

The formalities

Former employers are typically contacted to check previous positions and periods of employment, while educational institutions are asked to confirm marks.


No background check will be conducted without your prior consent, and you will receive more detailed information about this, if applicable.


For positions that require an authorisation and/or approval of suitability, a police certificate of good conduct will be required.
