DNB Technology & Services is looking for experienced Platform Engineers to join our Central Cloud Platforms area. We build and operate the foundational cloud platforms that power Norway’s largest bank in both AWS and Azure. Our mission: enable DNB’s engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative solutions for both internal and external customers.

We have a cloud-first strategy, with a strong presence in both AWS and Azure. At the same time, we still have a significant mainframe footprint which we are well on the way to modernise away from. We are looking for engineers who can help accelerate modernisation of legacy systems and of course new inovative solutions, especially by leveraging the latest AI and agentic tech.

As a Platform Engineer you will work hands-on with cutting-edge cloud and AI services, enabling self-service capabilities, and supporting engineering teams across DNB. AI is a strategic priority for DNB and our cloud teams play a central role in enabling AI adoption across engineering, business processes, and customer solutions.

What You Will Do

• Design, build and evolve DNB’s cloud platforms and services
• Manage, monitor and secure AWS and Azure Landing Zones
• Improve and operate self-service cloud platforms for engineering teams
• Partner with product and development teams to help them succeed on our platforms
• Drive adoption of cloud-native and AI-driven tools, capabilities, and ways of working
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and continuously improve our solutions with security, reliability, and efficiency in mind

What We’re Looking For

Engineers with solid hands-on experience in:

• Cloud, DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles
• Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud technologies
• Experience with cloud AI services such as AWS Bedrock, Agent Core, Azure AI Foundry, or similar
• Programming experience in Python or similar languages
• Container orchestration: ECS, AKS, EKS, OpenShift
• Development tooling such as GitHub, Nexus, SonarQube, ArgoCD ++
• Experience with modern code assistants and AI-enhanced IDEs (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Kiro)
• Cloud and AI security concepts, tooling, and best practices
• Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform

Additional capabilities we value:

• Hands-on with gen AI technologies and tooling (e.g. A2A, MCP, MLflow)
• Bonus: knowledge of AI agent frameworks such as AWS Strands, LangChain, CrewAI and Claude Agent SDK
• Experience with cloud networking and connectivity

• Comfortable diving deep into infrastructure, cloud services, and code
• Able to support, guide, and collaborate closely with developers
• Value-driven—focused on creating measurable impact for users and the business
• Fluent in English; Norwegian is a plus (or willingness to learn)
• Curious, with a passion for learning and solving complex technical challenges
• Open mind to a different view. Nothing else matters!
