DNB is hiring an experienced solution architect to support our teams in building new solutions!

Our team 

The Architecture Department in Product & Technology is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join our team in Oslo. Our department consists of architects who work across multiple delivery teams, ensuring coherent architectural direction and high technical quality. In this role, you will work with the Customer and KYC team, where you will help design secure, scalable, and well-aligned solutions that support great customer experience and regulatory needs.

We are looking for someone who is a tech-enthusiast experienced in IT architecture, with a background from complex IT environments. You have strong knowledge of agile methods and a solid understanding of development processes.  You have competence in AWS public cloud technology and distributed platforms. You are also comfortable communicating in English (both written and verbal).

Main responsibilities:

• Design good architectural solutions and communicate these solutions to the developers, business areas and other stakeholders
• Be an advisor on technical issues, share your knowledge with others and ensure continuous improvement in technical issues
• Be a liaison between business and IT and have a central role in delivering solutions that are stable, secure and efficient
• Navigate in a relatively complex organization, thereby maintaining good relationships with other collaborators in DNB
• Develop and document guidelines, standards and targets according to our current architectural principles and standards 
   

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or similar  
• You have relevant work experience as an IT architect in various large projects / areas
• You have relevant experience in different areas of architecture (infrastructure, security or solution architect)
• You have good knowledge of the principles of IT architecture and methodology
• You have a sound technical background and experience with cloud technology
• You have experience with integration methods (like Messages/ Events (Kafka, MQ), APIs (REST, SOAP, GraphQL), and file-based integration)
• You have good language skills in English, written and oral
